- Sean, you just fell for the tricks majors play upon us. Besides Big Ten and Big East, they all schedule a championship game. Of course that last conference championship game would be against a strong opponent and whoever emerge would have a better looking resume.

- Notice the verbs? "Would" humiliate; "Would" get their clocks cleaned , etc. etc.

- That's not a voice of reason, that's plain rediculous. The difference in the playoff and BCS is that the playoff would offer the whole field A SHOT at the NC, whereas, the BCS predetermined the two "best" teams.
